The World Moves Forward

Dear Emma,

I’ve returned to work and this has been more emotional and challenging then I anticipated. I knew it would be hard I just didn’t know it would cause the tears to fall. Returning to work means that the world has to move forward. This is the hardest part for me. Your dad reminds me often, we are not moving on, we are just moving forward. I miss you more and more each day and I wish I could just stop time.
