Holidays

Dear Emma,

It has been too long since I’ve written. I’m sorry. Life has been so busy and hard. So many ups and downs. I had no idea how hard the holidays would be. Thinking about your first Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was so emotional. Everyday a wave of sadness would come and the tears would fall. What would you be doing? What would you look like? How would you smile and laugh? We miss you so much. We hung your stocking next to your sisters. I love seeing it there but I also am so sad that it wont be filled with goodies like your sisters stockings. This year has been so hard.
